The Al Dhafra Maritime Festival is an annual event held at Al Mugheirah Beach in the Al Dhafra Region, organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Council and the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club.
The festival aims to highlight and preserve the Emirati maritime heritage through a variety of traditional and modern maritime races, folk games, sports events, and entertainment and educational performances. It also features a traditional market showcasing heritage products, along with artistic and cultural performances suitable for all age groups, thus promoting national identity and emphasizing the importance of maritime heritage in Abu Dhabi.
