Liwa Date Festival and Auction

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the third edition of the Liwa Date Festival and Auction will take place in Madinat Zayed, Al Dhafrah Region, Abu Dhabi, from October 11 to October 20, 2024. The festival aims to support the agricultural sector and the date industry in the UAE, featuring competitions and auctions for dates, as well as cooking contests, art activities, and educational lectures. The festival reflects the leadership’s commitment to developing the agricultural sector and enhancing the GDP of Abu Dhabi. The festival seeks to improve the quality of Emirati dates and promote food security.
